Two streets that are located in Ragunan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, inundated. These streets are Jl Harsono RM, RW 07 with puddle as high as 20 cm and Jl Kavling Polri, west entrance of Ragunan Zoo (TMR) with puddle as high as 40 cm.

Ragunan Urban Village Head, Purwanti Rahayu disclosed, puddle on Jl Harsono RM, precisely in front BRI University is due to small-sized channel and utility in waterway.

"Channel at Jl Harsono must be widened because of many refinements and utilities. Its channel wide is smaller, while the water flow is too hard thus big street with small channel does not inadequate," she explained, Tuesday (2/9).

She went on the say that puddle receded within 15 minutes after rain stopped. PPSU was also alerted to overcome puddle and manage traffic.

Then flood at TMR's west entrance is due to concave-shaped street thus water from three locations cannot be avoided. Whereas, officer has disposed water to the channel at RW 08 that empties into Ragunan River.
